Brainspotting
Brainspotting is a focused, effective therapy that can change how you feel at a fundamental level. Using eye position to connect with feelings, we allow the brain to change how emotional memories live inside you. In many ways, this modality is an extension and enhancement of the talk therapy relationship.
Brainspotting allows me to attune to your specific needs, anything from processing preverbal trauma to enhancing your focus and performance. Brainspotting can reduce treatment time and allow for change with less verbal processing. I have worked with numerous clients who experience more emotional freedom than they believed possible with this modality. I use this method with both individuals and couples.
I offer Brainspotting in regular 50- or 80-minute sessions or in weekend intensives. Intensives are scheduled for individuals who are ready for faster progress toward their mental health goals.
I have received certification in Brainspotting, specialized training in Brainspotting for developmental trauma, and training from the founder of Brainspotting. I attend a Brainspotting training every year from a variety of trainers to refresh my approach to this powerful and adaptable therapy.
